Tapioca with Brown Sugar Grilled Pineapple

Product Used: Señor Rico® Tapioca Pudding

Add a tropical twist to Señor Rico® Tapioca Pudding and pair it with brown sugar grilled pineapple that melts in your mouth. A tantalizing tango of flavors!

Ingredients

  • Señor Rico® Tapioca Pudding
  • 1 pineapple, rind cut off and sliced into ½ – ¾ inch slices
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • cooking spray/oil

Instructions

(If serving as a side, you can either keep the pineapple core to hold the pineapple with and eat it that way, or remove the core and chop up the pineapple.)

  1. Toss pineapple with brown sugar and let sit for ten minutes.
  2. Coat grill pan with oil.
  3. Cook pineapple on grill for 2-3 minutes on medium heat, then rotate 45 degrees for a charred X effect. Flip pineapple slices over and repeat.
  4. Serve with Señor Rico® tapioca pudding as a side or chop up and mix in with your pudding.
