California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

Lakeview Farms LLC insists on adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct in all of its operations and activities, and expects that all of our vendors and suppliers conduct their businesses in a similar lawful and ethical manner. We strongly oppose slavery and human trafficking and require that the operations and activities of our vendors and suppliers will likewise be undertaken free from those activities.

Lakeview Farms LLC suppliers are required to agree with us in writing, among other things, that in their operations and activities, none of the products they provide to us were manufactured, tested, packaged or otherwise produced and transported using any form of slave labor or labor obtained from human trafficking; that the supplier complies with all applicable laws within the supplier’s place(s) of operation, including those laws regarding slavery and human trafficking; and that the supplier does not employ or otherwise benefit from any child labor. We do not verify our product supply chains to evaluate and address the risk of human trafficking and slavery, but we take substantial precautions to source only from reputable suppliers. Our supplier audits do not include trafficking standards, and suppliers are not asked to certify that the materials they use comply with slavery and human trafficking laws. We reserve the right to immediately terminate our supply relationship with any vendor or supplier we suspect in good faith to have breached any of these obligations.

Our employees are encouraged to report illegal or unethical behavior involving the Company or its employees to their supervisor. Lakeview Farms LLC management and employees who have direct responsibility for supply chain management take ethics coursework but are not required to take specific training on human trafficking and slavery with respect to mitigating those risks in the product supply chain.
