Product Used: Salads of the Sea® Cajun Crab Dip
A perfect appetizer for a crowd, warm and cheesy Cajun crab dip with garlic herb-crusted bread dippers baked right in.
14oz Salads of the Sea® Cajun Crab Dip (2 containers)
16 frozen yeast dinner rolls
1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
½ stick or 4 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic salt or powder
1 tbsp butter (for pan)
Place frozen dinner rolls on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Allow rolls to thaw at room temperature for 30 minutes (dough should be thawed but still cold).
Grease bottom and sides of a 12-inch cast-iron skillet or pan.
Combine and sift together Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic in a resealable plastic bag.
Dip dinner rolls into melted butter. Toss them in the plastic bag with the seasoning. Arrange side by side around the edge of the skillet. Cover with plastic wrap and let rolls rise for 2 to 2 ½ hours, or until doubled.
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Stir together Colby Jack cheese and 2 containers of Salads of the Sea® Cajun Crab Dip. Unwrap the skillet and pour the dip into the center of the skillet. Top with additional shredded cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until rolls are golden and dip is heated through. (To prevent browning, cover rolls with aluminum foil during the last 10 minutes of baking if necessary.)
