Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Bowls

Product Used: Gracious Grits® Original Creamy Grits

Rise and shine to an easy and delicious breakfast! Start with Gracious Grits® Original Creamy Grits and top them with sausage, egg and white Cheddar for a mouthwatering breakfast bowl you’ll want to make again and again.


  • 8oz (half a 16oz package) bulk sausage
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 package of Gracious Grits® Original Creamy Grits
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup white Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided


  1. Fully cook sausage in a skillet. Add onion and sauté until tender.
  2. Cook Gracious Grits® Original Creamy Grits according to directions on the package. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in skillet on medium-high heat and cook two eggs over-easy.
  4. Stir cheese into grits, setting some aside for topping.
  5. Divide grits into two bowls and top each with an egg and sausage. Top with remaining cheese.
