A simple yet tasty appetizer for holiday parties! Serve Luisa’s® Five Layer Fiesta Dip garnished with chili pepper flowers and red and green tortilla chips.
Luisa’s® Five Layer Fiesta Dip
red and green tortilla chips
small red chili peppers
additional cheese and salsa (optional)
Open Luisa’s® Five Layer Fiesta Dip and place in the center of a serving platter. Sprinkle on additional cheese if desired.
Using a knife, cut the very tip off of the chili peppers and remove most of the membrane and seeds. Starting at the base of the stem, cut a straight vertical line down through the center of the pepper. Use scissors to cut the two halves into thin strips all the way around the pepper. Repeat with the second pepper and place peppers in a bowl filled with ice water. The sliced peppers should flare out and resemble flowers.
Dry peppers and arrange on top of layered dip. Drizzle on additional salsa if desired. Serve with red and green tortilla chips.
