Cinnamon Leaves with Rice Pudding
Product Used: Señor Rico® Rice Pudding
Serve these fall inspired cinnamon tortilla leaves with Señor Rico® Rice Pudding for a traditional family dessert.
Ingredients and Supplies
- Señor Rico® Rice Pudding
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 flour tortillas
- leaf-shaped cookie cutters
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Use leaf-shaped cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the tortillas.
- Mix sugar with cinnamon on a plate.
- Pour enough oil into a skillet to fry tortilla leaves, about ½ inch deep, and heat. Fry leaves in oil until light golden brown on each side. While still warm dredge in cinnamon sugar to coat.
- Dip cinnamon leaves in Señor Rico rice pudding or serve as a side.
