Product Used: Señor Rico® Chocolate Pudding with Cinnamon
These easy to make desserts will be the perfect Valentine’s Day treats! Just fry up some mini flour tortilla boats and coat them in lots of cinnamon sugar, then fill them with Señor Rico® Chocolate Pudding with Cinnamon.
Señor Rico® Chocolate Pudding with Cinnamon (about three 8oz containers)
12 mini flour tortilla boats
½ cup sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
oil for frying
In a saucepan or skillet, heat oil over medium heat to fry the tortilla boats (about 2-4 cups of frying oil, depending on the size of your pan). The oil should be about 1-inch up the side of the pan to make frying easier.
Layer cookie sheet with paper towels to soak up any residual oil left on the boats after frying. Fry 1 to 3 tortillas at a time, depending on the size of your pan. Use a slotted spoon to submerge them under the oil and flip if needed. Remove and drain tortillas after 1-2 minutes or until a light golden brown. Place boats on the cookie sheet for a few seconds until cool enough to touch, then roll in cinnamon sugar to completely coat.
Once cooled, fill with Señor Rico® Chocolate Pudding with Cinnamon. Decorate with whipped topping and sprinkles if desired. Best served the day they are made.
