Apple Crumble Rice Pudding
Product Used: Señor Rico® Rice Pudding
Dip into this layered dessert and melt away at the taste of tender cinnamon apple pie filling on top of warm and creamy rice pudding, finished off with a sweet and crunchy crumble.
Ingredients
- 32oz Señor Rico® Rice Pudding (4 8oz containers)
- 1 cup apple pie filling
- packaged crumble topping
Or make your own crumble:
- ½ cup cold butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup rolled oats
- ¾ cup flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Spoon Señor Rico® Rice Pudding into lightly buttered ramekins or small baking dishes. Cover each with ¼ cup apple pie filling.
- To make crumble topping, use packaged cobbler topping and follow package directions, or make your own by combining brown sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon. Use a mixer or forks to mix in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbles.
- Top rice pudding with crumble.
- Bake at 350º F for about 15 minutes or until warmed through and topping is golden brown.
- Try it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped topping!
